The STNA program is an Ohio Department of Health approved 75-hour curriculum. Cincinnati offers day, evening and weekend class schedules. The day class is our full-time program, while the evening and weekend classes meet part-time. Please select the schedule that works best for you.

STNA Full Time Day Two Weeks Blended Cincinnati Class
The day class is our two-week, accelerated program created for students who want to complete their STNA training in the shortest possible period of time. The day class meets for a total of 75 hours and consists of 59 hours of classroom and lab, and 16 hours of clinical training. The class is offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a new day class starting every 2 weeks. Clinicals are typically held Thursday and Friday of the second week from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm at our clinical partner site. Our class hours or clinical days may vary during holiday periods. NOTICE: Effective 06/01/2020 all students will need to provide their own navy blue scrubs for the STNA program at Alia Healthcare. Scrubs can be in any style or preferred fit so long as they are navy blue. You will NOT be charged for scrubs upon registration. In addition to scrubs, all students will need a watch with a second/sweeping hand for taking vital signs, and a pair of white closed-toe shoes. Total Program Fees: The total program cost will be $675 (paid in full) OR $700 (if enrolled in a payment plan). STNA Part Time Evening Four Weeks Blended Cincinnati Class
The evening class meets part-time, four nights per week from 5:30 pm to 10:50 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The evening class meets for a total of 75 hours and consists of 59 hours of classroom and lab, and 16 hours of clinical training. The course lasts for 4 weeks and the clinical training days are Saturday and Sunday following the last class, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Our class hours, days or clinical days may vary during holiday periods. Please note that for two in-person days, students are expected to arrive early at 4pm. NOTICE: Effective 06/01/2020 all students will need to provide their own navy blue scrubs for the STNA program at Alia Healthcare. Scrubs can be in any style or preferred fit so long as they are navy blue. You will NOT be charged for scrubs upon registration. In addition to scrubs, all students will need a watch with a second/sweeping hand for taking vital signs, and a pair of white closed-toe shoes. STNA Part Time Weekend Five Weeks Blended Cincinnati Class
The Weekend Class is a Part-Time 5-week course that meets in-person Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for five (5) weekends and ends with two (2) clinical days on the sixth weekend Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Our class hours or clinical days may vary during holiday periods. NOTICE: All students must provide their own navy blue scrubs for the STNA Program at Alia Healthcare. Scrubs may be in any style or preferred fit so long as they are navy blue. You will NOT be charged for scrubs upon registration. In addition to scrubs, all students shall need a watch with a second/sweeping hand for taking vital signs, and a pair of white closed-toe shoes. STNA Part Time Day Four Weeks Blended Cincinnati Class
This four-week AM class is our part-time day section designed for students who wish to attend class during the day but who are unable to commit to a full day session. This part-time day session meets for a total of 4-weeks on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Class Start Time 9:00AM to class End Time 2:30PM. During week four (4) in addition to class, clinicals are held on Thursday and Friday. Part-time morning classes begin the first Tuesday of every month. Days and hours may vary during holiday periods. NOTICE: Students will need to provide their own navy-blue scrubs for class. Total Program Fees: $575 (paid in full) OR $600 (if enrolled in a payment plan). CNA Course Information

Our Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) covers the following healthcare topics: nurse aide roles, communication, interpersonal skills, basic nursing skills, mental health, social services, legal issues, safety and security, signs and symptoms of disease, aging, death and dying, hygiene, grooming, and mobility. In addition to classroom-based lecture and laboratory training, you will engage in “hands on” clinical training. Upon successfully completing our class, all students will be qualified to take and pass the Ohio State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) exam. The Alia Healthcare Services STNA program is offered multiple times throughout the year. Please see the STNA Program Schedule for the next available start dates. The Ohio Department of Health requires that students complete a minimum of 75 hours of STNA training, consisting of 59 hours of classroom and lab training, plus 16 hours of clinical training. To ensure that all our students meet the clock hour requirements, we carefully monitor the time that each student participates in class. If any class time is missed due to an emergency, arrangements must be made to make up the hours at the instructor’s discretion. Student hours missed that are not attributable to a verifiable emergency may result in the student being dropped from the class, with the requirement that the student resume or restart the class in an upcoming session.

CNA Payment Information

Each student must pay a $125.00 deposit upon application, which is applied to the total balance due for the class. Applicants must also pay $35 for books and $25 for a uniform. So, the total amount due upon application to the STNA program is $160. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable and are applied to the total cost of the program. The remaining balance is due prior to the first class unless a partial payment agreement is selected (Please see Fee Payment Agreement for details prior to submitting your application). If a payment plan arrangement is selected, please remember that your fees are due on the agreed upon dates. It is important that all fees be paid, in full, five days prior to the last day of class, or your clinical days will have to be postponed. For more information see Tuition and Fees.
